Ram Naik gave fitting answer. His colleague Shri Gopal Shetty took initiative and Ram Naik inspired hundreds of people of Mumbai to give their contributions and life – size statue of Veer Savarkar was unveiled at Borivli by Shri Narendra Modi. The statue is housed in a memorial garden spread over few acres. It consists of many facilities such as amphi theater, children’s garden, joggers’ park, etc.
